On Tuesday, 2/7/12, the Oregon House Higher Education Committee held a hearing on HB 4059, which would, among other things, direct the Oregon Higher Education Coordinating Commission ?to report to Legislative Assembly on proposed partnership with Western Governors University to provide online higher education degree programs and financial aid for Oregon students enrolled in university? (here).

I am a supporter of the Western Governors University and an advocate of extending financial aid to Oregon students enrolled in it.

I previously posted a video of Scott Jenkins, Director of External Relations for the Western Governors University, testifying before the Oregon House Higher Education Interim Committee in November, 2011 (here). Jenkins testified again on 2/7, but I chose to post a video of one of WGU?s student mentors testifying (above).
